Framing Fratton

Portsmouth FC’s Fratton Park is one of the few remaining old-school grounds in England.
Combining the best features of a mid-sized venue, Fratton Park is famed for its mock Tudor facade and its Archibald Leitch South Stand.
Fortunately, Pompey don’t seem to be looking at different sites for a new stadium and are instead committed to improving the ground that dates back to 1899.
Matt Barnes, went to Portsea Island for the last game of the League One season with his camera and some film.
The sun showed its head and Fratton Park looked damned good.
