We could write chapter on verse on why a dastardly band of Mexican mariachis found themselves following Merthyr Town to Yate on Boxing Day.

But the truth is that Merthyr have a striker called Ricardo Rees, to which the fans sing a song to the tune of “tequila” by The Champs.

That’s it, utterly fucking stupid but they seemed to have a muy bien time on this Day Of The Dead (keen Merthyr fans).
